BENEATH AN ORDINARY STAIRCASE LIES AN EXTRAORDINARY WORLD.
AND SOME SECRETS WERE NEVER MEANT TO REMAIN BURIED.
When Ivy discovers a mysterious passageway beneath an old library, she finds something she never imagined possible.
An entire city hidden beneath the streets.
Welcome to Understep.
A remarkable underground world filled with glowing neighborhoods, secret tunnels, and forgotten history.
But this extraordinary city is hiding a dangerous secret.
Long ago, a terrible flood forced its leaders to seal off entire neighborhoods. Now, with another storm approaching, the consequences of that decision threaten both the hidden city and the community above.
Together with her friends Ada, Tariq, and Nim, Ivy must uncover the truth and help bring two divided worlds together before it’s too late.
Along the way, she’ll discover that friendship can cross even the greatest divides, courage begins with kindness, and sometimes the most extraordinary places are the ones where we finally feel we belong.
One hidden city. Four courageous friends. Two worlds whose futures depend on each other.
The City Beneath the Staircase is a magical and heartwarming children’s adventure about friendship, courage, compassion, belonging, and the extraordinary power of bringing people together.
